Thank you so much, Rosemary for your kind words about Charlie the Horse. I'm sure you enjoyed my sister's illustrations as well. They are marvelous. She is also responsible for the new cover of Charlie the Horse as well as those of Charlene the Star and Hattie's Heroes and Charlene the Star. I will see Holly this afternoon and I'll share your thoughts with her.

Hi Deanie, I read your e-book last night, Charlie, the Horse.  It's wonderful.  I had trouble downloading onto my Kindle but finally got it installed.  I enjoyed it because  the novel which I'm writing mentions horse racing.

Sorry for the interruption.  Here is another of my early poems.

Rosemary, my great uncle died in 1971. But I hope if he is looking down, he will be happy with the book. To me, history is best understood from a personal perspective. My great uncle lived thru WWI, Paris between the wars, WWII, and so much more. I have learned history I never studied in school doing the research.

Deanie, yes, I should have mentioned the fire fighters and the law enforcement.  As a citizen of the United States we perform jury duty.  We raise our right arm and hand as we are sworn in to perform our duties.  Its an honor to be a citizen of the United States of America.

Definitely, Rosemary. Our police and firefighters are heroes every day. We must honor them.

Patricia, I bet your uncle is honored?  I'm in the process of writing each of my grandchildren a poem.  Then I will published the poems in a book.  Got the first one finished yesterday....now its the editing process.

Yes, I will. You must be so anxious for that to happen.

Thank you, Deanie...now cross your fingers that it comes out soon!
