What are you passionate about?
At the risk of sounding like a Miss America contestant, I think the thing I am most passionate about is the idea of including the arts, literature & music, into the education of our children. The Sciences today are so necessary and important to compete in our future, but, conversely, I believe the value of music, art and literature helps preserve and define where we have come from and expands our own worldview.
What makes you a valuable networking contact?
I understand and believe in individual talents, how it is necessary to depend on others to accomplish a job or mission. Having worked with and volunteered for non-profit organizations, I know the value of teamwork when it comes to moving an idea forward or accomplishing a job. I also believe in the saying "pay it forward"...If I can pass along a name to someone and help them in their work, it will eventually come back to me as well.
How did you become involved in your current position? If you’re an entrepreneur, what inspired you to start your own company?
After retiring to northern NH with my husband, through his past work in art book publishing in NYC, I was introduced to a woman photographer, Sonja Bullaty. She encouraged me to take up photography as an art form and gave lessons along the way. That first nudge evolved into the business I've developed today. I have since that time learned to look through my camera's lens with an artist's eye and continue to enjoy the process of creating my art.
Offering (Products, services, expertise, etc. you or your company can offer others)
For Interior Designers, Decorators who work with business or individual home owners, I can help fill a clients needs/tastes in decorative wall art. I custom print all of my images to size. All work is archival and printed in my studio or through Stinehour Editions in Vermont, depending on size.
Seeking (Products, services, expertise, etc. you or your company are looking for)
Interior Designors, Decorators to help fill a clients wishes for wall decor in homes or businesses, custom home builders wishing to help stage model homes for display. Gallery owners who are looking for a specific "theme" in wall art for a client.

Creative Arts Anyone?

As an new member of Cambridge Who's Who, one of the first things I did to get acquainted is check out the groups. I did find several on photography but what I didn't find was one that involved the creative arts. I proposed one right away but have yet to hear from anyone. Then I started thinking about the whole subject of "creative" art.  How would it be defined? My own art has evolved from painting to photography and I find myself looking through my camera's lens from a painters…
