Peaceful Minds “United Nations Style”

If you’re wondering what the “United Nations” is, the “United Nations” is an international organization founded in 1945 after the Second World War by 51 countries committed to maintaining international peace and security, developing friendly relations among nations and promoting social progress, better living standards and human rights. I believe the United Nations found their inner peace of…

Don't Worry, Pray and Give Thanks!

How many of you can agree there are passages of scriptures you come across many many times? But, there are times with the same passage it appears as though it leaps off the pages and you grab a hold of it for dear life thanking God for reminding you He got you! My dear friends this is what I call a Rhema Word. It is a seed God has…

Are You Running on Empty?

Question: Are you running on empty? You know how it feels. At the beginning of this year you were on fire and claiming the blessings of the Lord. You felt like this year was going to be your year! Now your life seems to be going in a gazillion different directions. Truthfully, behind that smile, you’re feeling drained and defeated. Even the fire of your relationship with God, that once burned so brightly, now seems to be barely flickering.

In looking at Psalm 6, we find David.…

No Is Not An Option!

For the past few weeks I have noticed on the local and national news, story after story and number after number shocking disparities in women lives. These messages have been clear and consistent that some women have become discouraged and frustrated. They are giving up on looking for jobs. They are giving up on their marriages. They are giving up on church. They have even given up on life.…

Blessings or Tragedy?

I personally feel that daily communion with God, the creator brings unlimited wisdom and growth potential.

He also has a way of getting our attention, this can come thru trials and tribulations. Recently, the front end of my car was clipped by a semi driver that turned too short while making a right hand turn. Thank God, that the driver stopped before my door on the driver's side was crushed!

The damage to my car has been repaired; however, the physical and…

Calling All Teachers

A personal note to teachers. I write a great deal about education, and see a lot of comments on various sites; additionally I get email from people...And it finally dawned on me that many teachers have a strong emotional identification with the elite people at the top who control the system. This is surprising because I believe, as is often the case with management and labor, the two groups actually have opposing interests. The teachers want to do what is best for them and their students. The… Continue
