Meet Cambridge Who’s Who member Sergeant Maj. Gloria J. Tyrell, Command Sergeant Major for the U.S. Army Human Resources Command, St. Louis. Her principal responsibility is the accomplishment of the mission and the welfare of her soldiers. Sergeant Major Tyrell has taken on a variety of roles in the U.S. Army. With over 30 years of experience in the military, she now serves as the "last" Command Sergeant Major for the U.S. Army Human Resources Command-St. Louis, which closes in September 2011. Her dedicated efforts have been appreciated by her seniors, peers and subordinates; she was awarded the Order of Military Medical Merit, as well as named in the book "Tranferring the Ranks."
