Vicki Lyons M.D. Provides Diagnosis and Treatment of Asthma and Allergies

Ogden, Utah-based allergist and immunologist Dr. Vicki Lyons is qualified to evaluate and treat allergic and non-allergic rhinitis, asthma, atopic dermatitis, eczema, food allergies, hay fever, hives and angioedema, sinusitis, nasal polyps, drug allergies, latex allergies, insect allergies, contact dermatitis, otitis media, and anaphylaxis. Dr. Lyons is also a staff physician at McKay-Dee Hospital and holds clinical privileges at Ogden Medical Clinic, Ogden Regional Medical Center, and the Primary Children’s Hospital at Logan Regional Medical Center. She has been an investigator for Intermountain Clinical Research since 1994, and is a former staff physician with Intermountain Allergy & Asthma.

Dedicated to quality patient care, Dr. Lyons stresses the importance of patient education and makes a conscious effort to always place the concerns of her patients first. She commented, “The most rewarding part of my work is making a difference in patients’ lives—[by] taking on even some of the most difficult and challenging illnesses and helping patients work through them, educating and bringing them full circle to wellness, [as well as] enabling them to lead full, happy and productive lives.”

She completed both her residency and internship in internal medicine at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University, Shreveport after finishing a fellowship at the National Institute of Health Study Research in 1986.
